Funds raised for the Canadian Tribute for Human Rights during Swirl and Twirl 9 and 10 have helped fund the last stage of its construction, a project that illuminates the monument beautifully so its more visible at night. Our contribution to this important initiative was recently acknowledged on a commemorative plinth located near the monument (see image above).

The entire Swirl and Twirl committee is proud to have supported such a worthy charity and is glad that the monument will be visible for generations to come.
